Stephan Jung, born 1976 in Jena

Studies Architecture at Bauhaus University Weimar, from which he graduates under the supervision of Gerd Zimmermann with an architectural design project for Muelle de las Delicias in Seville, Spain.

Takes part in 2000 in the Bauhaus Academy Rome programme at Palazzo Doria Pamphili.

Is selected in 2001 for an Advanced Architecture study exchange with Politecnico di Milano, where he encounters Decio Guardigli and Maurizio Vogliazzo, of which he becomes student, collaborator, assistant, colleague and friend.

2002 he starts working with ALADlabs.

2006 he encounters Andrea Branzi, who becomes his doctor father.

2009 he becomes Adjunct Professor for Architectural Design at the School of Architecture at Politecnico di Milano and is a founding member of SOARC the Society for Architecture

2011 he opens his own architecture practice

2012 he becomes International Visiting Professor for Interior Architecture and Composition at the School of Design at Politecnico di Milano

2014 he wins the prestigious Politecnico International Research Fellowship programme

2016 together with Sabrina Colombo and Sara Galli he founds SAFTzine a magazine on architecture, art and culture, where he has the pleasure of encountering and collaborating among others with Arturo Franco, Dario Borso, Lisa Ponti, Franco Raggi, Franco Toselli, Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi and Maurizio Vogliazzo.

He lives and works between Weimar and Milan.
